ABT began in 1990 as Assurance Business Technology, Inc. and transitioned from corporate compliance software to websites under the current name of American Business Technologies, LLC dba ABT Websites. Currently ABT Websites is made up of a full staff of website development, graphic design, social media, online advertising, custom programming, content writing and especially business website planning.

The company is privately owned and operated by Chris James. She still recalls the 1st website she sold in 1994 for a European Chocolate importer, then to a Yacht broker and information portal. The rest is history. Over 300 websites later, we now integrate high end graphic design, e-commerce for selling products online, custom programming and database integration for secure storage and logins.

Chris obtained her e-commerce certification in May of 2010. The company strives to stay current in technology, social media, Google analytics and new certifications. Customer service and support and project management are incorporated into every project to provide the greatest benefits to a business.
